Seller Testimonial:

“Wow, a word that has so many meanings. In this instance it is out of being incredibly impressed. Looking at the original marketing ads for this model the, "Price Is No Longer An Excuse For Not Owning A Martin". I have to say that Martin delivered! For the price point that these went for, this is an absolute fine guitar. Built well, despite a raised eyebrow to Rosewood Laminate and not a solid wood back and sides its a very loud and resonant guitar. Components are indeed everything when you're dealing with an acoustic, however, Martin made a great choice putting these woods together to help cut the cost and bring an incredible instrument out for another buyer range. Bringing it back to life was incredibly fun and satisfying. It bums me out to sell, but I know whoever picks this awesome guitar up will love it to pieces!

Neck Feel: The neck is smooth with no bumps or nicks that affect playability. I am partial to a satin backed guitar neck for not only its resistance to your hand sticking, but it feels like you have no barrier between the guitar and yourself. You can become one with this piece very quickly!"

Condition:

This guitar has very minimal play wear on the pickguard and some really small scuffs on the back of the guitar. I noticed that on the back where the binding pieces meet that there is a little gap in there. I'm not as familiar with the Martin builds and if that is a normal thing from age, but it's such a small gap my opinion is that it's just how the guitar is manufactured. There is one tiny mark, probably from a string change, on the headstock. No neck or bridge lifting, super minor fret sprout that was cleaned up, but could come back if you are not in a controlled humidified room. The guitar is now in The case with a Humidipak to prevent the continuation of its fret sprout. Really clean piece given the age and ready to be played more!

Modifications:

This guitar looks to have no modifications whatsoever. The only thing that was changed were the strings! I put on Stringjoy's Foxwood Phosphor Bronze 11-52s which are a coated string that last a long time and preserve all the good tone you are chasing!
